ABOUT LAGNIAPPE WINE TOURS
In New Orleans, lagniappe (pronounced LAN yap) means "a little something extra" and that is what you will get with our tours. Booking a trip to Napa/Sonoma can be intimidating. There are so many wineries to choose from, the large corporate wineries with open tasting rooms, to intimate small family owned ones. There is also the risk that comes with driving yourself while doing tastings. Let Lagniappe Wine Tours take the stress and risk out of your vacation by taking care of the details and doing the planning and driving for you.
Through our knowledge of Wine Country and contacts built up by being in the wine business, we can customize a trip that will exceed your expectations. Based on a few questions to determine what you are most looking for on your trip, we will carefully match your needs with our extensive list of host wineries to give you "a little something extra."
Our Tours
We offer customized tours of Napa/Sonoma, focusing on exclusive tastings with small wineries in our luxury Suburban. We specialize in bringing wine lovers to intimate settings where you have the chance to interact with winemakers/staff and gain an in-depth understanding of what goes into making world class wines.
Our vehicle is large enough to support up to 8 guests, but you will not be treated like you are on a tour bus. We specialize in the hidden gems that are off the main drive rather than those where the large groups congregate around a tasting room bar hoping to get the attention of a host. With our tours you will enjoy seated one-on-one tastings with a knowledgeable host (or in some cases the winemaker) who will describe the nuances of the vineyard and wine making decisions that lead to what you are tasting in the glass.
Perhaps you already have wineries in mind that you would like to visit, but could use the help of local experts to help round out your trip. Or maybe you want to explore new and exciting places that only a team of dedicated local experts would know about. If this sounds like the kind of wine country experience you are looking for, then we encourage you to click the link below to find out how Lagniappe Wine Tours can help you get "a little something extra" on your next trip.

MEET OUR HOSTS

Chris Agan
After years of wanting to be a winemaker, Chris finally realized his dream in 2016 when he and TC moved to Napa after successful careers in the US Navy and in business. Working harvests at Joseph Phelps Vineyards and Relic Cellars gave him the practical knowledge needed to launch his own label, Second Line Wines. He is now ready to share his knowledge of winemaking and the Napa/Sonoma region with visitors who want "a little something extra" with their Wine Country vacation.

Patrice "TC" Whelan
TC loves living in Wine Country and hopes to share her love of the valley while hosting you on an personalized wine experience. She wants to share with you the wine experiences that we get to enjoy every day by living in the valley. Come on and let us make your luxury experience a "little something extra" that will have you coming back year after year.
